Before becoming an electrician, I worked as an archaeologist before moving into professional garden design, landscaping and later qualifying as an RHS gardener. Those careers taught me to understand landscapes, observe how people use outdoor spaces and appreciate the history and ecology of every garden. Today I combine those experiences with specialist lighting and electrical knowledge to create outdoor spaces that are both beautiful and practical.

This includes:

• Creating atmosphere

• Layering light

• Highlighting focal points

• Avoiding glare

• Reducing light pollution

Great garden lighting isn't about installing more lights. It's about understanding how a garden should feel after sunset.

Every lighting scheme I create is guided by three simple principles:

🌿 Respect the garden.

🌙 Respect the darkness.

🏡 Respect the people who use it.

Designed Around Nature

Every garden is unique, but the principles behind a successful lighting scheme remain the same. My aim is to create lighting that is beautiful, practical and sympathetic to the character of your garden and the wildlife that shares it.
